SESSIONS

Most people reach out by email, or sometimes through social media. I'll call you back if you leave your number, and we'll talk briefly about what you're thinking, who's involved, and whether the work is the right fit for what you have in mind.

If it is, we book a design session.

We meet at the studio, usually over coffee, and talk through the session in detail. What you'd like the portraits to feel like, what you might wear, how the artwork could live in your home. I'll show you finished pieces. Wall portraits or art-mounted prints and their custom boxes.

This is also where we talk about investment in detail, so there are no surprises later. If everything feels right, a date is confirmed with a session fee.

The studio is a large open room, considered and quiet, with finished art work on the walls. There's water, coffee, and something to eat if you'd like it.

A session runs anywhere from one to three hours depending on what the session is. There's plenty of time to slow down and settle in, particularly if you include hair and makeup before we start shooting. Nerves are expected here, but they typically turn into anticipation as I guide you through the session.

Around two weeks after the session, you're invited back to my studio to view your portraits. This is the time we align your favourites with the artwork that will fit your space the best.

You invest in what you like, and leave what doesn't fit....no surprises.

Artwork is custom made and arrives about a month after the viewing, depending on what you've chosen. Wall pieces are delivered ready to hang, and art-mounted prints are either wrapped or placed in a custom box. Made to live in your home, not on a hard drive.
